ASA105 CON – Coastal Navigation

OVERVIEW:
ASA 105 Coastal Navigation teaches the foundational skills necessary for safe and effective passage planning and navigation in coastal waters. You’ll learn to read and interpret nautical charts, use tide and current tables, and understand key navigation publications like the USCG Navigation Rules. The course covers plotting positions, correcting for current and leeway, and converting between true and magnetic bearings. Practical exercises include plotting dead reckoning positions, determining a course to steer, and taking bearings to find your location. By the end of the course, you’ll have the tools and knowledge to confidently plan and execute coastal passages with accuracy and safety.

ASA105 CON – 沿岸航法

概要：
ASA 105 沿岸航法コースでは、沿岸水域における安全かつ効果的な航路計画と航行に必要な基礎スキルを習得します。海図の読み方と解釈、潮汐表と潮流表の利用、米国沿岸警備隊航行規則などの主要な航海刊行物の理解などを学びます。コースでは、位置のプロット、潮流と横流れの補正、真方位と磁方位の変換などを扱います。実習では、推測航法による位置のプロット、操舵針路の決定、方位測定による現在位置の特定などを行います。コース修了時には、沿岸航路を正確かつ安全に計画・実行するための知識とスキルを身につけることができます。
